Wynfield was established in the Town of Huntersville in 1988, and is a community of almost 400 homes. Wynfield is located just 14 miles from the center of Charlotte, and is readily accessible to Lake Norman and I-77.
As you drive down the Wynfield Creek Parkway, you’re welcomed with beautiful mature trees and rich landscaping. Our amenities include lighted tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, a junior lap pool, a fenced playground, a clubhouse, walking paths, a neighborhood swim team, and neighborhood social events. It is an amazing place to call home!
Wynfield is in close proximity to fantastic offerings such as Birkdale Village's outdoor shopping center, a vibrant and growing Huntersville Town Center, the Huntersville Vine greenway system, town and county parks, hiking trails, schools, and more. In recent years, the Huntersville Town Center project, initiated in 2022 and expected to continue through 2026, represents the largest investment in downtown Huntersville to date. This mixed-use development aims to create a vibrant town center, blending residential and commercial spaces to foster community growth.
The area has also seen enhancements in recreational facilities. Eastfield Park, a 114-acre “adventure park” in Huntersville, is set to begin construction in 2026. Designed to preserve much of its natural landscape, the park will offer overlooks, wildlife viewing areas, and maintain existing streams and tree canopies, providing residents with a unique outdoor experience.
These developments underscore the dynamic growth and commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Huntersville and the Lake Norman area.
